FCC is the abbreviation of (Federal Communications Commission, US Federal Communications Commission www.fcc.gov), FCC certification is a mandatory certification for electronic products to enter the US market. Involves more than 50 states in the United States, Columbia and the United States.
FCC certification is the US EMC mandatory certification, mainly for 9KHz-3000GHz electronic and electrical FCC certification products. , as well as certification system and organizational management system. FCC regulated products such as: personal computers, CD players, copiers, radios, fax machines, video game consoles, electronic toys, televisions, and microwave ovens. These products are divided into two categories: CLASS A and CLASS B. Class A is for commercial or industrial use, and Class B is for household use. The FCC has stricter regulations on Class B products. Low and Class A, for most electrical and electronic products, the main standards are FCC Part 15 and FCC Part 18.

1. The form of FCC certification:
The FCC has three certification modes for different products, namely: Verification Declaration of Conformity (DoC) and Certification. Different certification modes require testing laboratories to obtain FCC accreditation, and have different application, testing and declaration requirements.
1. Verification: that is, self-verification, manufacturers or importers ensure that their products have undergone the necessary tests to confirm that the products meet relevant technical standards and retain test reports, testing laboratories FCC LISTEE, and all accredited sites are published in the official online. The FCC has the right to require manufacturers to submit equipment samples or product testing data. Equipment suitable for self-certification includes commercial computers, TV and FM receivers, and FCC Rule Part 18 non-consumer industrial, scientific, and medical equipment.
2. Declaration of Conformity (DoC): the declaration of conformity, the party responsible for the equipment (usually the manufacturer or importer) tests the product in the qualified testing agency designated by the FCC to ensure that the equipment complies with the relevant technical standards and retains the test report , the issuing agency must be authorized by NVLAP/A2LA. The FCC has the right to require the responsible party to submit equipment samples or product test data. Devices for which the Declaration of Conformity applies include home computers and peripherals, civil broadcast receivers, super-regenerative receivers, other receivers of FCC Rule Part 15, television interface equipment, cable system termination equipment, and Part 18 mass consumer use of industrial, scientific and medical equipment.
3. Certification: ID certification, certification is the process of FCC signing equipment approval based on application and test data. The FCC reviews the samples (or photos) and test data submitted by the applicant, and authorizes the device with an FCC ID number if it meets the requirements of the FCC rules. Applicable devices for certification include low-power transmitters such as cordless phones, remote controls for automatic doors, radio-controlled toys, and security alarm systems, Part 15 devices that intentionally emit radio frequency energy, Part 18, mass consumer use of industrial, Scientific and medical equipment, automatic frequency conversion receivers and super-regenerative receivers, television interface equipment, and home computers and their peripherals. The responsible party shall have the equipment marked with the FCC ID.
As follows, FCC PART 15 and PART 18 are the most widely used:
FCC Standard Applicable Scope
FCC PART15 C/E/F Intentional Radiation Device Test
FCC PART 18 Industrial, Scientific and Medical Equipment
FCC PART 22 Public Mobile Communication Services
FCC PART 24 Personal Communication Services
FCC PART 25 Satellite Communication Services
FCC PART 27 Other FCC Wireless Communication Services
FCC PART 68 Telecommunications Terminal Equipment
FCC Part 15 regulates transmitting equipment that is intentional, unintentional, or transient and does not require a personal license for use. It includes technical specifications, administrative requirements and other market access conditions. Products are mainly divided into four categories: unintentional launch equipment, intentional launch equipment, license-free personal communication equipment, and license-free national basic information equipment.
FCC Part 18 regulates the electromagnetic energy emitted by industrial, scientific, and medical equipment (ISM) operating in certain frequency spectrums to avoid harmful interference to authorized wireless communication services.
1. The customer submits the application form (our company provides a blank application form);
2. The customer signs an entrusted testing contract with our company;
3. Send samples for testing, and prepare electrical schematics, external/internal photos, oscillator circuit block diagram, user manual nameplate identification, working principle descriptions, etc. (varies according to products);
4. After passing the test, if it is FCC VOC certification, our company will directly issue the certificate and report. If it is FCC DOC or ID certification, our company will submit the application materials to the certification agency authorized by FCC;
5. After the enterprise obtains the FCC certification, it can use the FCC logo on the product.
Note: FCC ID certification needs to submit a list of materials and requirements as follows:
1) FCC application form: the application company name, address, contact information, product name and model, usage standards and other information requirements are accurate;
2) FCC authorization letter: It should be signed and stamped by the contact person of the applicant company and scanned into an electronic file;
3) FCC confidential letter: The confidential letter is an agreement signed by the applicant company and the TCB agency to keep the product information confidential. It must be signed and stamped by the contact person of the applicant company and scanned into an electronic file;
4) Block diagram: It is necessary to draw all the crystal oscillators and the crystal oscillator frequency, and keep it consistent with the circuit diagram;
5) Circuit diagram: It must be consistent with the crystal oscillator frequency, number of crystal oscillators and crystal oscillator positions in the block diagram;
6) Circuit description: The requirement is in English, and the function realization principle of the product is clearly described;
7) Instructions for use: FCC warnings are required;
8) Label and label location: The label must have an FCC ID number and Statement, and the location of the label must be prominent;
9) Photos of the appearance of the product: the pictures are required to be clear and clear, and remarks are added if necessary;
10) Test report: The test is required to be completed, and the product is fully evaluated according to the standard terms;
