The audio test is basically carried out on the basis of the excitation response, that is, the excitation signal of known characteristics is added to the input end of the DUT, the signal characteristics of the output end of the DUT are measured, and the signal characteristics of the output end of the DUT are measured, so as to compare with the signal at the input end. The signal degradation at the output is used to judge the audio performance of the DUT. Of course, the excitation signal can be directly output by an audio analyzer (such as American AP, domestic ABTECA2, etc.), or can be tested by playing a standard test signal directly on the DUT.
In audio testing, the most commonly used stimulus signal is a sine wave signal, because this signal concentrates the energy to a point in the spectrum Q, so comparative testing is relatively simple. In daily testing, multiple sine waves or noise are also used for testing.
