·6GHz Frequency Band Compliance: Wi-Fi7 high performance depends on 320MHz 6GHz channel; EU enforces extra 6GHz compliance audit for Wi-Fi7 device after Aug2025 new RED regulation, US FCC fully opened 6GHz while China pending full domestic frequency release.

·MLO Multi-Link Operation Test Upgrade: Core Wi-Fi7 feature with doubled test case quantity vs Wi-Fi6, leading to longer ATL lab test backlog & extended lead time.

·Narrowband 20MHz Wi-Fi7 certification officially open from Jan2026 for low-power IoT chip development.

2. Wi-Fi8(802.11bn UHR) Official Roadmap

IEEE finalized core spec draft in May2026; WFA schedules global three-site Plugfest interoperability trial Sep7~11,2026 (Beijing/Taipei/California). 5. Global Regional Regulatory Tightening

·EU: EN18031 cybersecurity mandatory for all wireless devices under updated RED from Aug1,2025; non-compliance penalty up to 4% global annual turnover.

·China: Domestic Wi-Fi device needs SRRC approval (valid 5Y, USD1,400~4,200 approx) + CTA certification(valid5Y,USD1,300~2,600 approx) complying with MIIT 2023 No.9 document RF specification.

·Canada ISED: Annual administrative fee adjusted per local CPI since Apr2025 (~USD804.14 base registration cost), non-Canadian enterprise requires local authorized in-country agent service.
