1、 Introduction to IMEI

Finally, the following charging scheme has been formed and officially implemented since January 1, 2016. 1. TAC price: $400 / piece; 2. If the number of TACs purchased in the year exceeds 30, you can choose to pay US $12000 in one time in the next year to obtain the same number of TACs as in the previous year. $3000 for every 10 exceeding parts; 3. Maximum cost of purchasing TAC: US $30000 / year; 4. GSMA members and associate members enjoy a 10% discount on the above basis.

3、 IMEI number composition

IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) is the abbreviation of international mobile equipment identity code. IMEI code is unique, pasted on the logo on the back of the mobile phone, and read and write in the memory of the mobile phone (press "* #06#". It is also the "file" and "ID number" of the mobile phone in the manufacturer.

IMEI consists of 15 digits. Each digit only uses 0 ~ 9 digits. Its composition is:

2. Composition and meaning of TAC (type allocation code):

The first two "NN" of TAC are IMEI authorized distribution organization code (reporting Body Identifier), such as 01 for American CTIA, 35 for British BABT, 86 for Chinese TAF and 91 for India.

The last 6 digits of TAC "xxxyyy" are the mobile terminal model identification code defined by the approval authority.

3. Composition and meaning of serial number:

The 9-14 digit "zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

4. Meaning of check code

Check digit, which is calculated from the first 14 digits by Luhn algorithm.

Note: SVN, software version number and software version number exist only in some models of some brands to distinguish different software versions used by the same model mobile phone when leaving the factory.
