On January 1, 2021, the Brexit process of the United Kingdom will be officially completed. The relevant goods exported to the UK will no longer apply the CE mark, and the UK government has newly launched the UKCA certification. Products sold to the UK must be affixed with the UKCA logo!

For products that have been placed on the UK market before 1 January 2021, companies have a one-year transition period to adapt to the new requirements, during which the CE marking can still be used until 1 January 2022.
If my product needs to be certified, what are the requirements for affixing the UKCA logo?
1. If the UKCA logo is enlarged or reduced, it needs to be scaled proportionally
2. UKCA logo height is at least 5mm, unless a different minimum size is specified in the relevant regulations
3. The UKCA logo needs to be clearly visible and legible
How long does it take to get a UKCA certification?
SRD short-distance products, 3-5 working days for testing and 3-5 working days for certification.
License communication products, testing 5-7 working days, issuing 3-5 working days.
My product is exported to the UK, how is the safety part certified?
The standard is the BS standard. Except for the difference in the plug and socket, the other contents are the same as the EN standard. At present, the report template of the international standard IEC is still merged with the EU difference and the UK difference template.
Differences between EU and UK plugs and sockets: European 2.5A standard is EN 50075 16A is used VDE 0620-1, UK plug and socket standard is BS 1363
