UKCA certification, like CE certification, is also a statutory mandatory certification requirement. That is to say, as long as the products covered by UKCA related product regulations must obtain UKCA certification before they can enter the UK market, otherwise it is illegal and will face various possible penalties such as failure to clear customs, fines, and recalls.
