1) PSE certification is a mandatory safety certification in Japan, which is used to prove that electrical and electronic products have passed the safety standard test of the Japanese Electric and Material Safety Law (DENAN Law) or the international IEC standard.

2) Products stipulated by Japan's DENTORL Law (Electrical Device and Material Control Law) must pass the PSE safety certification when entering the Japanese market. Among them, 116 kinds of A-type products should obtain the diamond-shaped PSE mark, and 341 kinds of B-type products should obtain the circular PSE mark.

3) METI filing regulations require that Japanese buyers must register with METI within one month after purchasing the goods, and must mark the purchase name or ID on the product for supervision and management in the future product sales process.

Special reminder: At present, products that are exported to Japan and have applied for PSE certification are required to be filed with METI!

Introduction to the Importance of Filing

The Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) released details of the method, which was developed by the Information Economy Division of the Ministry's Commerce and Information Policy Bureau.
